Key Word Stories

My Idea is simple each week there will be a set of keywords given. You will then be tasked with creating a simple story that contains all of those words. The story can be a silly or as serious as you what, the only rules are that you don't make the stories graphic and that all the keywords are used in some way.

Here is an example:

Key words: じてんしゃ - Bike   パリ - Paris   パスポート - Passport   さいふ - wallet   えいご - English   おいしい - Delicious

Story:　じてんしゃで、パリにいきます。　うしは、パスポートとさいふをたべました。　うしは、えいごで「おいしい」といいました。

(translation and romaji conversion will be done upon request)  


The key words will be taken from your suggestions and the Shiritori post in the culture forum.

You have until Friday to submit your key words. The best 5 will be chosen by you through a poll which will be opened. Details on the time-frame for the story will be given when the key words have been chosen.

Kanji is optional but as this is beginner level it is not required. May I also ask that If you do use kanji please be basic and provide the hiragana for use by other students.

 Alright! Since this is relatively new the first set of words that we shall be using are the ones provided by jinzou ningen. Remember all of the words provided have to be used in some way and the story can be as funny as you want as long as it makes sense. Good luck!

むかしむかし、ぼくの一目ぼれは虫でした。虫がとてもきれいだとおもいますが、父は虫とあそぶときかならず体でたくさん塗れにしてもらうとおもいました。それに、父はきたないものがだいきらいです。それで、虫と恨みがありました。父はむしとあそぶなといっていました。なのに、ぼくはちちのことばをさからいました。毎日虫とあそびました。二年まえに、むしがしんで、さびしくなりました。
