My personal favorite is HOME MADE 家族. They're not that famous and I think that is great. I don't have too many rivals Razz
Basically, I love anime opening and ending themes, especially Naruto's.

Home Made Kazoku is awesome! : D

Though I generally prefer bands like Matenrou Opera, Versailles and Phantasmagoria.
Has anyone here heard of Fuji Fabric? They're my absolute favourites!

    That's great!
A couple of singers that I like are Hamasaki Ayumi (song tip: M) and Ootsuka Ai (song tip: Sakuranbo). Another famous singer that I don't really enjoy that much, but is extremely popular, is Gackt. He was in the visual-kei band Malice Mizer before, but nowadays he's got more of a solo thing going on. A couple of years ago, however, he toured with Yellow Fried Chickenz. They're pretty good too! ^_^

I usually got my songs from anime openings and endings. But my first Japanese singer out of that category would be Utada Hikaru.

And now, I think SoulJa and Thelma Aoyama ain't half bad either. Although their songs pretty much revolving around the same story hahaha.

    I strongly recommend the following:
    Kagrra - Utakata
Plastic Tree - Twice, Melancholic, Gerbera
    Janne Da Arc - Gekkouka
    The Gazette - Cassis, Reila
Abingdon Boys School - Innocent Sorrow, Dress
Buck Tick - Romance, Kuchidzuke, Muma The Nightmare

These bands are more or less Visual Kei. They are the ones that lured me in, haha!

Thank You! I really appreciate it.

Here are some songs from the Nana Anime,

    A little pain - Olivia
    Kuroi Namida - Anna Tsuchiya
    Zero - Anna Tsuchiya
    ROSE - Anna Tsuchiya

I thought the story and the music in the anime were interesting. Please give it a try if you like music and bands. I do. Smile

Olivia was in Sweden a couple of years ago. She was great! It's a wonderful thing to hear anime music live - it's like hearing two things at the same time. Another good song by Olivia is Wish.

Hope you don't mind my frequent posts, lol. It's just that I love this subject! ^_^
